Minutes For November
Buckeye Beemer's General Meeting ----- November 18, 2009
The general meeting was held at the King Avenue 5 restaurant and called to order by Jaime Picou at 8:06pm. Board members Jaime Picou, Henning Carsen, Raymond Trepanier and Eric Nyrop were present; 9 members present.
Previous Meeting Report:
The October minutes were submitted for approval, Al Holtsberry motioned to approve them. J. D. Dunn 2nd the motioned. It was approved unanimously.
Membership report:
Raymond Trepanier reported we had 47 members.
Treasurer's Report:
Henning Carsen reported we had money, for those who wish to know how much we have either come to a meeting or call Henning.
Old Business:
(1)Annual Banquet.
Karen Stombaugh was not present. Jamie reported that progress was being accomplished. There will be a board meeting to discuss banquet details. The board meeting date has not been set.
(2)Membership form.
Reminder, time to renew. The membership form is on the club's website and in the last newsletter.
New business:
(1)The 'Fun Run' date is June 6th, 2010, Ed Caughell is Chairman. He was not present at this meeting.
(2)Eric Nyrop asked the club to find somewhere to store the club's equipment and records. Please contact him for details, best way is via email, please use both: ( ericnyrop@rileycontrols.com and enyrop@columbus.rr.com ).
Reminder:
Board Elections will be held in December, so please give some thought to being a board member. Come to the next general meeting and cast your hat into the ring.
We had 2 new members present, J. D. Dunn and Susan Rosta, please welcome them to the club when you meet them.
Dave Burroughs made a motion to adjourn, Susan Rosta 2nd it and the motion approved unanimously. Meeting adjourned at 8:55pm.
