Minutes for October
Buckeye Beemer’s General Meeting ----- October 21, 2009
We held the general meeting at the King Ave. 5 Restaurant. Jaime Picou (club President) called the meeting to order at 8:03PM. Board members Jaime Picou, Henning Carlsen, Raymond Trepanier & Eric Nyrop attended as well as nine general members.
Reports:
The Acting Secretary submitted the September minutes for approval; Al Holtsberry motioned to approve them, Dave Burroughs 2nd and the motioned was approved unanimously.
Membership report:
Raymond Trepanier reported we had 47 members not 46 as previously reported.
Treasurers Report:
The Treasurer, Henning Carlsen reported we had money. Those who wish to know how much money we have must either come to a meeting or call Henning.
Old Business:
Concerning the Club logo revision. Dave Burroughs presented various club logos for review and comment. A lively discussion ensued. We chose the design with the red state in the background. You can view the new logo at our website. The BMW logo protectors required this format of the club logo./patch.
Membership form:
The membership form has been revised and is on the club’s website; there is no longer an initiation fee to join the club. The annual term is now reflected on the form, it runs January through December .
New business:
Concerning the Annual Banquet. The is no status report as yet.
Reminders:
The AMA sanctioning meeting is coming up soon.
Capital City Motorcycle Club is hosting The Holloweenie Bean Poker Run Oct 25th.
Raymond Trepanier made a motion to adjourn; Pete Barnes 2nd, the general membership approved the motion unanimously. The meeting adjourned at 8:44pm.

Next General meeting will be held on November 18, 2009 at 8:00pm at The King Ave 5 Restaurant.
PS. Board Elections will be coming up soon, so please give some thought to being a board member. Come to the next general meeting and toss your hat into the ring.
